The chronicles of being attached to an ex's family.

It's bittersweet, guys. No, it's not sweet at all. It's mama Lally's 42nd birthday, her 42nd! What an accomplishment! She definitely does not look 42, she's still feisty as fuck, and goddamn I love that woman. And you know what's really fucking sad? Her mother, stepson, and son did not bother to take like 5 minutes out their lives to call and say "Hey Tammy, happy birthday, I love you." NO! They did not! It's a kick in the ass for a woman who works so hard. You know the fucking stresses you have to deal with at 42? Sending your baby off to college, working with little screaming kids, feeding yo dogs, hell.. turning 42 is a fucking stressor! Of course mama lally being mama lally did not complain about the facebook chat "happy birthday mom! ima go play pingpong now" or "oh, tammy, it's your birthday? my i'm getting old" or "stepmama! peace and love from incarnation!" she received at like 9 PM. but her husband fucking knew. and hell fucking yea he complained for her. Wheres the personal attachment inthose message, wheres the passion and love for this woman that you obviously have, but just.. life is too busy for you to show true compassion. Birthdays are not a chore, guys. It can go right, wrong, or passive. Mama lally is passive. Respectable, she has had 42 of them. But goddamn, this woman deserved more and I'm sorry I didn't call either. 

I know it weird. Why so attached to his family? Well, he and his family are not one. They're all individuals. Very great ones, if i ever wanted to be adopted, i wouldn't mind joining the Lallys. They're genuinely kind, funny people. Dickish at moments, crude at others, but hey, who wants nice and bland? Be well rounded and spectacular.
